La Crosse County District Attorney Tim Gruenke announced Friday that Elon Musk will not face criminal charges concerning a social media post that offered $1 million to individuals who voted in the 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court race.
Gruenke stated that he determined he could not convince a jury to convict Musk of election bribery. This decision was based on the vagueness of the initial post and a subsequent clarification Musk provided. Additionally, Gruenke noted that no one was ultimately paid for voting as a result of the post.
