LAS VEGAS, NV, UNITED STATES, August 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — MSW Interactive Designs LLC announced that video editor Lucas Reisman completed the 2026 Summer Youth Internship Program administered by the Nevada Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, spending four weeks at Las Vegas mobile game developer PLAYSTUDIOS before returning to his senior year at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Reisman received his certificate of completion on Saturday, August 8, at a celebration held at AV Vegas in Las Vegas, joining 41 other interns recognized in the 2026 class. The ceremony was hosted by Marshal Hernandez, district manager of Pre-Employment Transition Services at the Nevada State Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, with opening remarks from Bureau Administrator Drazen Elez and certificates presented by Program Officer Jameliz Torres and Statewide Supervisor Zia Zeniou.

The Summer Youth Internship Program, known as SYIP, is a four-week paid internship run by the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation that places students with disabilities ages 17 to 22 with host employers across the state. The 2026 program ran July 13 through August 7, with Vocational Rehabilitation covering intern wages and workers’ compensation and providing host employers with disability awareness training and on-site support. Twenty-one Nevada employers hosted interns this year, among them PLAYSTUDIOS, Discovery Children’s Museum, Make-A-Wish Nevada, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum and Enterprise.

Reisman’s placement at PLAYSTUDIOS, a Las Vegas-based developer and publisher of mobile games including the Tetris mobile franchise, matched an internship to a stated career goal. Reisman works as a video editor for MSW Interactive Designs and plans to become a video game designer after he graduates from UNLV.

“Lucas is a working member of our production team, and he earned that seat,” said Sandy Waggett, founder of MSW Interactive Designs. “Watching him spend a summer inside a real game studio in the city where he wants to build his career was one of the best days our agency has had in a while. We are proud of him, and we are grateful to PLAYSTUDIOS and to Nevada Vocational Rehabilitation for opening that door.”

Reisman handles video editing for client campaigns at the agency, work that spans short-form social content, promotional video and post-production for the agency’s marketing clients. Motion graphics, pacing, sound design and iterative revision are shared craft between video post-production and game development, and the internship gave Reisman exposure to a professional studio environment in the interactive entertainment industry.

Programs like SYIP address a persistent gap in the labor market. Pre-Employment Transition Services, the federal framework SYIP operates under, funds job exploration counseling, workplace readiness training, self-advocacy instruction, postsecondary counseling and work-based learning for students with disabilities, on the premise that early paid work experience is one of the strongest predictors of long-term employment. Employers that host interns are recognized by the state as Disability Inclusion Partners.

For MSW Interactive Designs, the recognition reflects a hiring approach the agency has applied for more than 25 years, in which team members are brought on for demonstrated skill and developed toward the careers they actually want.
