How the Environmental Solutions Top Ten Was Selected
The Environmental Solutions Top Ten is not a separate competition. Each company first had to qualify for the overall PurposeBuilt100.
The Super Crowd screened literally thousands of public and private companies to identify businesses demonstrating meaningful social or environmental impact. Public-company screening used publicly available data, including SEC filings, while private companies could apply.
Eligible companies were then ranked according to geometric revenue growth from 2021 through 2025.
For the Environmental Solutions Top Ten, PurposeBuilt100 winners providing significant environmental solutions were identified and ranked using that same geometric growth methodology.
The result is a list that recognizes companies not simply for pursuing environmental missions, but for demonstrating that those missions can accompany substantial business growth.
