The system converts an existing single-outlet shower into a rain-shower-and-handheld combination without requiring changes to the in-wall plumbing. It requires only 1.5 inches of clearance above the overhead shower outlet, making the configuration relevant where ceiling space is limited. The system also works with the existing mixer valve without requiring its replacement.

The Polaris 1 requires 1.5 inches of clearance above the overhead shower outlet. Its extended shower arm creates additional room beneath the rain shower head. The handheld shower is mounted on a holder that allows its height and angle to be adjusted. A 5-foot hose also provides reach when using the handheld shower.
In addition, a diverter controls the rain shower head and handheld shower, allowing them to operate separately or together. Brass is used for the shower column and shower arm, while the rain shower head is made from stainless steel. The shower head includes silicone nozzles, and its thin plate allows water to drain after use. Polaris 1 can also retain the existing mixer valve without requiring its replacement.
