Milwaukee, WI, October 6, 2026 —

Milwaukee County is preparing to welcome its first-ever Costco wholesale store, with the anticipated opening date set for sometime before the Thanksgiving holiday. The arrival of the popular retail giant marks a significant development for consumers in the region seeking bulk purchasing options.

The specific location and exact opening day details for the new Costco warehouse have not yet been publicly announced. However, the confirmation of an opening prior to the Thanksgiving holiday indicates a rapid development phase for the store. This timeline suggests that construction or final preparations are well underway, aiming to capitalize on early holiday shopping trends.

Costco is known for its wide range of products, including groceries, electronics, home goods, and apparel, often sold in bulk quantities. The opening of a new store typically generates considerable local interest and can influence shopping habits and local retail competition. Further details regarding the store’s amenities, operating hours, and job opportunities are expected to be released closer to its official launch.

The absence of specific information regarding the store’s location and precise opening date means that interested residents will need to await further announcements from the company. The commitment to opening before Thanksgiving signals the company’s intent to be operational for one of the busiest shopping periods of the year.
